Our Team

Madeline is a proud Charlotte resident, the mother of three boys, and a lifelong educator who is deeply committed to improving public education for all children. She grew up in the Carolinas, with time spent in Durham, Cary, and the Greenville-Spartanburg area, before leaving home to attend Williams College in Massachusetts. After graduation, Madeline began her journey as champion of charter schools at Match Charter Public High School in Boston. She quickly found that her passion was for all things “behind the scenes” to help a great school run effectively and served as the Director of Operations for four years before moving to Chicago to attend business school at the University of Chicago. Following her MBA program, Madeline joined the team at Charter School Growth Fund and spent 5+ years supporting high-quality charter networks with their growth plans and fundraising for the organization’s multi-year fund. When she gets a break from chasing her kids around the backyard, Madeline enjoys vegetarian cooking, hiking & jogging, and reading the latest best-selling mystery novel.
